What you’ll need
2 cups (480 mL) sugar
1 cup (240 mL) water
Fresh lemon juice
Steps
Combine sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly
Take off the heat, and add a splash of lemon juice
Allow the mixture to cool, and then store it in a sealed container until you need it!
